It was November 1942 and for the crew aboard USS Enterprise, the war had never been more personal. Enterprise was the only battle-ready American aircraft carrier left in the Pacific Ocean and she and her crew were all that stood in the way of the Japanese. When the Imperial Navy tried to retake Guadalcanal, it was USS Enterprise that sent their transports and destroyers to a watery grave in Iron Bottom Sound.
