In 1939 there were more than three million Jews in Poland. Just two families are known to have survived the Holocaust intact. This is the story of one of them, a husband, his wife and their two little girls.
Separated, threatened, persecuted, and facing genocide, through an astonishing sequence of events, they each survived.
With courage, daring, guile, sheer bloody-mindedness and luck, against all odds, they came to be united once more as a family, only to separate again as an Iron Curtain fell across their continent.
Now, for the first time ever, these two little girls step forward to tell their family’s story in this profoundly moving tale of the human spirit.
