Do you, or your parents, or grandparents have film/home movies taken in 1939 which shows what life was like in Britain in the weeks and months before the Second World War?

We’re looking for 8mm or 16mm film which depicts how people lived - both at work and play - and how a nation prepared for yet another war with Germany. Please help us paint a picture of Britain in the summer of 1939.
